BattleKart is the perfect blend of electric karting and augmented reality.
The idea is simple: you drive a real kart on a track covered by an interactive projection system. Thanks to ultra-precise tracking, every move your kart makes is instantly translated into a digital world that reacts beneath your wheels.
A dark hall, a huge track and, under your tyres, scenery, power-ups and obstacles appearing in real time.
How does the technology work?
You don’t need to be a professional driver to have fun: the technology handles the game mechanics for you.
Ultra-precise tracking
Sensors follow your kart in real time: the system knows your position, speed and direction to the millimetre.
Immersive projection
High-performance projectors on the ceiling display the circuit, racing lines and interactive elements on the track.
Physical interaction
Pick up a power-up and it activates instantly. And if an opponent hits you with a virtual power-up, your kart really slows down.
